Off-ramp via Wise Virtual Account

Right now, BM Protocol only supports American bank accounts for withdrawals. If you don’t have one, no worries — you can open a virtual USD receiving account with Wise. You can use it to receive USD or convert it to your local currency, such as SGD or IDR.

Follow this guide to set up your account step by step 👇

1.Sign Up

1.1 Go to Wise

Enter your email and click Get your gift.

1.2. Choose Account Type

Select Personal Account (for individuals).

1.3 Choose Country

Choose the country where you currently live.

1.4. Verify Your Phone

Enter your mobile number and input the verification code sent to you.

1.5. Set Your Password

Create a secure password for your Wise account.

1.6. Fill in Personal Information

Provide the following:

  • Country of residence

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Date of Birth.

1.7. Fill in Your Address

Enter your current residential address.

Provide your address information.

1.8. Identity Verification

To verify your identity, follow the on-screen instructions. You’ll need to:

  • Upload a valid ID (passport, ID card, or driver’s license)

  • Take a selfie or short video (if required)

Wise will review your documents — it usually takes 1–3 business days.

2. Generate a USD receiving account

Once your Wise account is verified, you can create a USD receiving account to use with BM Off-Ramp.

2.1 Open receiving account

Log in to Wise and go to the“Home” tab.

Click “Get started” to add a new currency account.

2.2 Choose currency

From the currency list, select USD – US Dollar.

Click “Confirm” to confirm.

To use your USD account for receiving, you need to activate the account and get your account details.

If your USD account shows as inactive, you’ll need to activate it first:

  • Click “Get account details”

  • Follow the on-screen steps to activate the account

⚠️ For new accounts, Wise may ask you to make a small deposit to complete verification.

Once your account is active, you can view your USD account details. You’ll get:

  • Account Number

  • Routing Number

  • Account Holder Name

  • Bank Address

You can now copy these details and submit them to BM Protocol for receiving.

4. Add Your Wise USD Receiving Account to BM

Now that you have your Wise virtual USD account, you can add it as your withdrawal account in BM Protocol.

5. Select Your Wise Account for Withdrawal

Once you've successfully added your Wise USD account, you can select it as your receiving account whenever you need to withdraw USD — for example, when using BM Off-Ramp.
